Boy, so glad there is a list for this area, I need everyone's help.
I know that Samuel Frank Smith was born on Dec 28 1849 Elkrigde, Anne Arundel Co MD ( now Howard County )
Now, the mystery is, who are his parents? On the 1900 census there is the name of ANNE L. ( Anna Louise ) listed as mother. This is a start, but no further information came be found.
So I come to you all in hopes that you will enjoy a great mystery and will not mind helping me find some answers.

I am trying to find information on a gentleman by the last name of HILL. I am posting this for a friend and he remembers that Mr. Hill lived in the general Baltimore area c. 1950 and that he was taken at age 8 by his father to visit Mr. Hill, but does not remember his first name. He remembers that Mr. Hill was a mechanical engineer by vocation and that he also engaged in home-type inventing. Where did you find Samuel living in the 1900 census? Also, have you
found him on any other census records yet? Do you happen to know what
church the family belonged to? Name of Samuel's spouse? Date of
death? Place of burial? Any other info you might already have may be
helpful in trying to locate further info. Just a thought.....as I am
certainly no expert on what records are available, even though I live in
the area....but I think you would probably have a better chance of
