Stone Magazine, a trade publication of the monument
industry, is doing an article on the Tombstone
Transcription Project and we are looking for some very
nice, large, high resolution photos especially of old
stones.
If anyone has a photo they think might work please
contact me at mdcat.geo@yahoo.com The stones do not
have to be in MD
However, if anyone has or is willing to go find a Boss
Hammond stone I would be so grateful. I know of one
such stone at Fairmount Cemetery in Frederick Co.

Pat - Regarding your questions about the May family: Maybe you could do some
"Instant Genealogy". Google the white pages telephone book for Montgomery
and Prince George's Co., look up the May family and call them up!! Maybe
they'll hang up on you, maybe not. Surely you'll find someone who knew these
people! Just a thought. (I've had some good luck doing this.) Jan Taylor in

Please excuse any cross postings, but the following program is a great
interest for anyone interested in families that have both Frederick Md, and
Loudoun Co., VA connections, including any Canal and Railroad families
moving up and down the Potomac River.
