Then it's probably Cedar Hill in Suitland, which is in
PG Co., The address and phone number are on the
partial transcription we have of that Cedar Hill
http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/md/pgeorge/tsimages/cedarhill/cedarhill.html
I have a very nice person who has done some
transcribing of tombstones there and if you can find
out where his grave is located perhaps we can get her
to take a photo of the stone. Or if you'd contact me
with his details, name, dates, etc. maybe I can ask
her to find it.
Maise:
Are you sure about Cedar Hill being Montgomery Co.?
There are more than one cemeteries named Cedar Hill in
Maryland - there's one in PG Co., one in Baltimore
Co., and one in Anne Arundel - but I don't recall one
in Montgomery Co..
Do you have a city name?

a document that names all of the children from this union but a fairly

You mentioned Sara C. Paxton, b. 1891, who married Lester Houser. If
you find she ties with your family, I'd love to share information.

I need help finding the history of the Paxton family.
I see that there are tax records (rent rolls) for Paxton's in Queen Anne County, MD. Is there anything that would help in the rent rolls? What could I expect to find on the rent rolls?
Yesterday, I sent this message to the EVANS mailing list. Since I don't
know exactly where in Maryland or Florida my EVANS descendants may be

multi-list subscribers.

Rand,
Where are you located? If you are in/near the D.C. Metro
area, the Washington Star is available on microfilm at the
Rockville Regional Library in Maryland, and in the Library of
Congress Newspaper & Current Periodicals Research Room downtown.
I do volunteer lookups of obits through the Random Acts of
Genealogical Kindness (http://www.raogk.org) site, but my waiting
list is off into the middle of next year right now. Please use
that site to make the request. Contact
