William BALDWIN b 1776, possibly of Prince George's County, Maryland was married for the 2nd time to Elizabeth SHERIFF in 1799. I see where where they had 5 children: Tabitha, Dorcas, Jason, Eli, and Thomas. Thomas b 1800 was married to Susan SUIT. He was a tavern keeper according to the 1850 Census in Bladensburg. I am searching for information on the Clement Hill Brooke family of Prince Georges County. He married Anne (Nancy) Carroll, in 1817. Both of them are buried at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Oxon Hill, Md. I am tracking all of their descendants and hope someone has information on Nancy. They are my 3rd great grandparents. One of their sons, Philip L. Would there be a newspaper available to report a person being killed by a train in 1852? Thomas BALDWIN was killed by a B & O train in Washington DC in 1852 and he is buried in Bladensburg, Prince Georges County, Maryland. I believe him to be the inn keeper in Bladensburg, Maryland according to the 1850 Census. I'm wondering if he was the sheriff for Prince Georges County 1834-1835. Anyone have any information?
