Hello List: I recently found evidence of my John Edwards. He died in 1761 in SMC (Inventory L 74, F 279) and left/sold/? his properties to Jonathan Edwards, Joseph Edwards and Meveral Lock according to the Rent Rolls in 1762. At the moment I am assuming that Jonathan (my ancestor) and Joseph were brothers and I am wondering if Meveral might have married a daughter of John Edwards, thus the reason he would be paying taxes on the property after John died.
