Today I went up to Ancestry.com and typed in GLIEGE a surname I am researching. It came up with Isaiah Gliege born about 1862 Easton, Talbot Co., Maryland this was on a 1900 census for Maryland. The Name GLIEGE is from Germany/Poland/Prussia and goes back to 1742 in Europe, as far as what has been found, so far. Most immigrated to the USA in the early 1900's, and are white, so a birth in 1862 was a big surprise to find in Maryland, of a black,Gliege. I would like to find the names of pare
