8. Re: [MDWASHIN-L] Wills Index? [0.98524]
I honestly don't know if this is what you are looking for since I do not have a copy but... on the Willow Bend book site there is a book titled "Wills of Washington County 1776-1890" by Dale and Deborah Jensen - 41 pages - price $8.00. The people at Willow Bend have been extremely helpful in the past and if you contact them (by phone or e-mail) they are usually willing to check the index to see if the surnames that you are researching are listed. Hello, I noticed your message about York Co. research. Do you see any Studebakers (many spellings), Surbers or Myers. They came from Germany in 1736 at the invitation of Wm. Penn. The Studebakers came on the Harle and landed in Philadelphia. They migrated to the Montgomery Co. - Dayton OH sometime between 1736 and 1856 when my grandmother Myers was born. Her mother was Mary Studebaker, a direct descendent of Clement Studebaker who came on the Harle with his brother Peter and cousin Heinrich. They are m
