In the 1930 census Verlie Hudson and wife Sallie live on Washington Street in Salisbury.
My mother knew him as "Uncle Verly" but I can't make the conection. He may be an honorary uncle but I suspect there is some true connection, if not an actual uncle.
In the household in 1930 is Thomas Baton, listed as brother in law.

Looking mostly for old, old Parsons (who lived in the 1700s), especially any named Jehu, Nathan, Levi or Jonathan.
We believe there is a connection between southern NJ Parsons and Wicomico area ones, because of these unusual first names that show up in both places. Please check your family trees for the OLDEST Parson

Dear Folks,
It seems from the following data that this family was
from Wicomico County. Can anyone help with more information
about them, especially about Moses Spear and his family.
I believe that Moses and his family moved to Jefferson
County, Kentucky after the revolutionary war. He most likely
had a daughter named Mary among his other children. I have a
marriage bond citation for Mary in Jefferson County,
Kentucky on 30 December 1781 in which Moses Spear stood
bond.

I am looking for any information on Longworths as early as the middle 1600s.
Three brothers born after 1635 were born in VA. The brothers had a falling
out and one branch of the family went to Maryland. I am trying to find that
branch of the family. Any Longworth info for the 1600s or 1700s is very much
appreciated. Not sure which Maryland County they ended up in.
