I copied some information about early Givans' Land patents.
The book is "The Early Settlers of Maryland"
by Skordas. The Worcester County Library has it WR Ref 929.3.
I am a descendant from John Davis Patrick who became a riverboat merchant on the Ohio River around 1835.
His parents are Thomas Patrick and Elizabeth Parnell Davis.
Does anyone have any info on these families?
