My ancestor, Abel Davis, was a cooper b. in MD between 1760-1770 based on census data. Abel m. Mary Unknown b. PA. Their frist child, Mary was b. 1790 in Monongalia Co., VA (now Taylor Co., WV). About 1818 the Davis family migrated to Champaign Co., OH where Abel m. Catherine Kirkwood 3 May 1828.

I am trying to find the parents of my G-G Grandfather, LEMUEL H. WINDSOR.
Lemuel was born somewhere in Maryland, March 7, 1832. The first
information I
find on Lemuel is the 1850 DC Census when he is 17 and is living with
MARTHA
LOMAX and his two siblings, WILLIAM L. WINDSOR AND JANE CATHARINE WINDSOR
(Larcombe). I can trace Lemuel through his life in DC and on the Eastern
Shore
of Virginia (in Onancock) but have not been able to find any information
prior to 1850.
