I am trying to locate my gr gr gr grandfather, Erasmus Darwin HUNTOON, in
the
1850 census. He lived in Kennebec County,Hallowell & Mt Vernon, most of
his life.
Using Ancestry.com 's index I cannot locate him in 1850. In earlier &
later I've seen the surname spelled Huntson & Huston. Erasmus is listed
as E D Huntoon in the
1860 census. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance Jo-Ann

Could SKS please look for John Perry born in England
between 1800-1826? By 1881 there is no trace of any
English Perry on Prince Edward Island, they've
vanished. One son was in Maine, possibly the entire
family?
TIA,
MaryLynn

Hello again!
I was going over my City Directories for Lewiston Maine....and I see that
Margaret Mary McCAFFREY is in fact in the Directories, but her last name is
listed as McCORMICK...rather then McCAFFREY. I suspect this is due to her
coming over to the states with the woman who raised her, Margaret McCORMICK.
So, I thank you so very much for the lookups in the ME 1900 Census,
Androscoggin Country, Lewiston. I wanted to clarify the person I am looking
for, would now be Maragaret McCORMICK she would have

I don't know much about him and he may have had more
than one wife. In 1845 he was married to a Liza

Hi Dana,
I knew Olive was supposed to have followed her husband John to California
about six months after he left. This narrows down the time period even
more. Olive and John had three children, Bertha, Ernest and Ethel. I
wonder if the children remained with their mother while John went to
California? All this certainly helps a lot!

20 years old. The family lived in Corinna in 1880, and John was "of

with his older brother Harry Everett HATCH.
Hi Jeff ~ There are 1125 Richards households in the 1870 timeframe that I
have found ~ Would you have at least a county or so that could help narrow
down the list a bit? Hope to hear back from you :) ~Maryann~
