Linda, As a collector of depression glass I would say it is Hazel Atlas, Heisey is usually an H in a diamond shape. While probably not an actual antique it is definitely a collectible. If you don't find it online the library usually have books on the markings a types of depression glass pieces. Some are very valuable and some not so look it up, you never know what you have. Helen

That is very true Crawford, My hubby and I were in Ipswich, East Anglia, England. In a rental car, on the "other side" of the road, we drove out to an air base quite some miles away to have a pub dinner with a son of mutual friends back in the States. The country side was beautiful, and there is a lot of history from the many air bases used by our Air Force in the 1940's. Yep, the seeds have to be down on the ground to germinate. They won't do it if they are high above the ground on the stalk. I think that is why we no longer have any here. They had been planted at the interchanges (small though they may be, the interchanges that is) and were delightful for the first year. my mom would have gotten along well with her How many parents out there let thier under 5 year olds use a roof for a play area it was a spanish style so there was a nice ridge around the top my sister and i talked about how many ways we could have died as little kids made our cheeks glow by putting Xmas lights in our mouths that were on the house (didnt make a diffrence on color cheeks glowed same color) ,hanging over the roof of the garage to pick some kind of berries from the tree next door . digging
