Poor you. People can get really touchy, can't they? Were they actually Merry names that you found? I have been busy with something else these past few months and have not done any Merry research. Will have to get there soon and have a look around. Happy for you that you found something. Hi all I seemed to unearthed some strong emotions when I questioned whether it would be easier to have records on cds that fiche. For this I am sorry. The reason why questioned it was that I am very enthusiatic about researching my family trees but because of some phyical disabilities find it hard to get myself over to the library to look at the BMD indexes and even harder to handle the fiche. Yesterday I used the free BMD index online and found six relations I hope people understand why I was questioning

Dear List, Some people have reported problems printing out their Welcome Letter (http://www.mdwsweb.com/genealogylists/welcome.html) from their browser due to text running off the right hand edge of the view area. The better method is to download the file to your computer and print it out from there. At the top of your browser click on [File] then [Save as...] When the Save As dialog window pops up choose where you want to save your file (e.g. on the Desktop) then click on [Save]. You will then h

Dear list, I finally did it. I created a homepage for the list! This site http://www.mdwsweb.com/genealogylists/ contains information about the list plus links to other useful sites. Rather than send the Welcome Letter to the list as an email as I've done in the past I'm leaving it up to you members to retrieve the letter from the homepage. Just go to the URL above and follow the link to the welcome

My choice would be the Alice Eldora Williams about whom I posted a few days ago and now appears at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/WILLIAMS/2005-11/1131416864 where you can see all the dates and places. It would be wonderful to meet my great-grandmother who was gone before my time. And I'm sure my father, who is still alive and kicking, would like to see his grandmother again. 25. new to list [1]
Hello everyone, I am new to the list and looking for any descendants of John & Ann (nee Palmer) MERRY. Both John & Ann Palmer were born in Castle Bytham, Lincoln, and were married on the 09 September 1852 in Bourne Lincolnshire. Somewhere along the line they must have moved to London as they have a child named William who was born in London in 1852. I found William living with grandparents William & Rebecca PALMER in Lincoln in the 1861 & 1871 census. I'm pretty sure I have found Williams parents
