I have been getting the messages. We are on "summer hours", but as has been mentioned the "diehards" will be up and running with messages. Withdrawal begins to set in with me if I don't get my messages everyday! I managed to mow the lawn, do housework, run errands and still kept getting drawn into the list. I love it! Catherine Jolibois is suppose to be the dau of Jean-Baptiste Jolibois and Josephine (no dates). Esther married Edward Minnie b. 1869. Also looking for the parents of Theodore Aurat b. c1890, died c 1955 Saskatchewan. He married Alice Descormiers b. c 1893, d. c1974 Saskatchewan. The surname Aurat could be a version of Lerat but have nothing to verify the supposition

Some time ago I saw info on the Beargrand-Champagnes and a connection to the Marion family. In doing my husband's genealogy I have run into a Marion family. Maxime Beaugrand Champagne married Marie Amable Marion. Her father is Jean Baptiste Marion and mother Marie Charlotte Huot dit St. Laurent. J-B father is Francois Marion mother Marie Charlotte Boucher. I haven't been doing this for very long. Is this Marion family Metis? Thank you for any help. Lynn
