Hi Tina,
I've been working on the Russell name for a while now. The family was
in Camden and Freedom. I have a number of cemetery, census and vital
records. Do you have some specific names and/or dates? I would be glad to
share what I have found.

Am I correct that the Federal 1890 census was destroyed by fire? If so,
is there any possibility that Maine conducted an 1895 State census?
Thanks, Nancy
Looking for Mark Ward married to Clara E. Maxim. Have little information.
Clara was Mark Ward's second wife. First wife had two children: Elbridge and
Mattie. Would appreciate a lookup by SKS in Waldo area. Should be on the
1880 census.
Thanks
Carol
Carol,
Here's another Ward family also in Searsport. I thought it might help.

Tina,
None in my lines. But there are a number -- many too many to post -- of
your first three surnames in Eaton's Thomaston History and the Rockland VR.
Do you have any given names and dates for specific lookups?

Not sure about 1895, but ..
The Maine 1890 Federal Population Schedules were completely destroyed by fire in the Commerce Department Building in January 1921. The Special Schedules Enumerating Union Veterans and Widows in Maine do survive.
