Hello- I am trying to research my grandfather, Octobiano Madrigal. On all of his documents it says he was born in Numeran, Mich.. Does this mean he was born in Michoacan? I am totally new to Mexico Genealogy (as you can tell). I wanted to make sure I subscribed to the right list.

Yes, it could mean, that he is from Michoacan. Also, I think that it is spelt "Numaran".
