My father, his parents and abuelos are from Guanajuato. Places like Las Cruces, El Pitayo, Los Cerritos or El Cerro. I can't find them on the map. Maybe they are ranchitos. Whatever they are, they must be close to the Michoacan border because two generations of my family were baptized and married at La Parroquia Santiago Apostol in Numaran, Michoacan. Can anyone tell me where these places are? Where would I find the civil registers? I've tried the LDS website and microfilms and have found my grandparents.
