I know a large family with that surname. They are from Fresnillo, Zac. I'm related to Antonia Quintanar, daughter of Pedro Quintanar from Huejuquilla, Jal. He fought on the Mexican Revolution and I think also for the Cristera War during the late Twenties or early Thirties.

My great-great grandfather, Marcos Lopez, and his wife, Eudosia Tiscareno, were the parents of Romualdo Lopez-Tiscareno. Eustacio Echeverria and Concepcion Sanchez were the parents of Micaela Echeverria-Sanchez. Romualdo and Micaela were married on July 29, 1877 in Guadalupe, Zacatecas. They are my great-grandparents.
