The news has been out that NARA is contemplating raising the rate for civil
war pension records from $37 to over $125 or so starting in May. I don't
know all the particulars, but I would like to order some of these records
before then. Here is my dilemma:
I have a gg grandfather who has military records, but no pension was applied
for that I am aware of. So all I would get if I ordered these would be his
civil war military records.
He has a brother who was reportedly unmarried, but has a 1904 civ
