If anyone has sent me an email that I should have responded to and didn't,
please send it again. I have just discovered that some of the mail to sent
to me has been lost in space. It didn't bounce back to the sender, nor did
I received it.

Someone was kind enough to send me a copy of the obit for Lauchlan McLean,
who died in Duluth but was buried in Sault Ste. Marie. According to the
Dec. 1911, obit, two of his children, Mrs. Samuel Dyer and Alexander McLean
lived in Sault Ste. Marie. Do those names ring a bell with anyone?

Recently at the State of Michigan Library in Lansing, I found a
bicentennial booklet about the history of Trout Lake and surrounding
areas. It is called TALES & TRAILS OF TRO-LA-OZ-KEN and was published
by the Trout Lake Women's Club in 1976. Does anyone know where I might
find a copy or who would have the original photos used in it? Page 144

I have a Minnesota DC which says that Lauchlin McLean, who died in
February, 1911, was "removed to St. Marie, MICH" I am assuming that the
undertaker meant Sault Ste. Marie since I can't find a St. Marie on the
Michigan map.
Does anyone know anything about any McLeans who might have lived in that
area or in what cemetery Lauchlin was buried? At the time of his death,
Lauchlin lived with Duncan McLean, presumably a son, although the DC
doesn't say.
There were two men by the same name living in Dulu
