3. Obit for Lauchlan McLean [1]
Someone was kind enough to send me a copy of the obit for Lauchlan McLean, who died in Duluth but was buried in Sault Ste. Marie. According to the Dec. 1911, obit, two of his children, Mrs. Samuel Dyer and Alexander McLean lived in Sault Ste. Marie. Do those names ring a bell with anyone? Marion Markham

Recently at the State of Michigan Library in Lansing, I found a bicentennial booklet about the history of Trout Lake and surrounding areas. It is called TALES & TRAILS OF TRO-LA-OZ-KEN and was published by the Trout Lake Women's Club in 1976. Does anyone know where I might find a copy or who would have the original photos used in it? 8. McLean burial in Sault St. Marie [1]
I have a Minnesota DC which says that Lauchlin McLean, who died in February, 1911, was "removed to St. Marie, MICH" I am assuming that the undertaker meant Sault Ste. Marie since I can't find a St. Marie on the Michigan map. Does anyone know anything about any McLeans who might have lived in that area or in what cemetery Lauchlin was buried?
