In the 1860 US census, Michigan, Sanilac Co., Forester
Twp., there is a Martin Stakem, age 25, living in a
boarding house, b. Ireland. In the 1870 census,
Michigan, Huron Co., Sand Beach, there is a Martin
Stakeham, age 38, works in saw mill, b. Ireland. And
in the 1880 census, Michigan, Iosco Co., Oscoda
Village, also a boarder Martin Staken(m), age 49 b.
Ireland. There is a check mark in the column maimed,
crippled, bedridden or otherwise disabled.
