I am looking for ANY information on Joshua and Lean
Wright, who are listed in the 1860, 1870 and 1880
census of Huron County.
In the 1860 and 1870 censuses, he was living in Hume
Township, next door to his son Jesse C. Wright.
In the 1880 Census, he was listed as living in Dwight
Township, with his son Charles Wright.
I would love to know what happened to Joshua and Leah
Wright. Leah is reported to have died in 1883.
I have all the census information. I would appreciate
anything else that anyone can

I don't know if this question was ever answered. If it was - please
disregard.
The firestorms of 1871 and 1881 in the lower peninsula of Michigan were
devastating.
I highly recommend reading the books "Michigan on Fire" by Betty Sodders and
"The Fiery Trail" by Judge James Lincoln and James Donahue.

Hello,
Would anyone on this list know anything about this couple:
FRANK W. WADE married MARIA HUXTABLE on March 28, 1889 in Huron County,
Michigan. They show up in the 1900, 1910 and 1920 censuses. I would like
to know more about Frank's ancestry in particular. Frank was born in
Canada, and I believe he may have first been married to my grandfather's
sister, Bertha Ann Clark. There were other marriages in Michigan between
the HUXTABLE, WADE, and MORAN families. If you can help, PLEASE email me
