Hi Everyone,
My mom passed early this month, so I've been going through
personal items. I've found another picture of a unknown family
member. On the back he wrote "Northeastern HS Class of 1951" Is
there or was there a Northeastern HS in Detroit or the surrounding
areas. Thanks in advance for your help.

The name of the street is GRATIOT.
It looks like downtown Detroit. My mother worked in a photo studio when
I was a child. I think I will try and see if the place you are looking
for is yet open.

Hi Mimi,
I have traced the family back to Keswick, Cumberland, England. My
grandfather said, they originally came from Scotland. When tracing the
family(thanks to the help of the listers on Cumberland-L@Rootsweb.com) I
found so many James Bow/Bowe/Bowes. I'm trying to find Jessie's daughter who
would be around 80 years old or older, the granddaughter is late 50's or
early 60's. Her name may be Judy. One other thing is that the daughter's
husband worked for Bendix Corp. in a high position and the
It is a shame that they took so long to decide to reopen. I am a summer
resident of Michigan and this past summer I was under going medical
treatment and waited patiently for the library to reopen. I was there for 7
months and finally had to leave the State before they reopen.
I wrote to the Library and stated my feelings on this and even called to ask
if I might be able to access to sets of records that were on the main floor
and that Iwould only need ten minutes to look up what I needed which was

Betty Mt Elliot is catholic and the Cemetery next to it is nondenominational.
It is called Elmwood. Many of our founding fathers buried in both as they
have been around since the mid 1850s. Mt Elliot has been filmed and should be
available through your library or LDS.

Hi
I am so sorry that you can't get the help you need. I know it is
upsetting to you, I feel the same way.I live here in Detroit and would
love to get some time in as well. I, like the person stated before know
that they do give 101+. As often as they can. I wouldn't want to have to
go any other place. It has been a help to me all of my life. I would love
for it to open back up full time. It was hard to get a machine to do my
research on (timed)I had to spend most of the day there. But I got what I
wanted.
I do have some limited info othe the Census of the state of Michigan
1884 for Ecorse Township, Wayne County. Also limited info on Northview
Cemetery, Tombstone Inscriptions Dearborn, Michigan.
Will do look ups on what I have if anyone needs it.
