1. Pedersens of Alden, Carlston TWP who immigrated from Lolland, Denmark [1]
Jacob and Petrina Knudsdatter Pedersen of Kobelou sog, Westerborg, Denmark immigrated to Alden, Carlston TWP, in 1879. They had at least 10 children all born in Denmark: Marie born 1849 Fredderikki born 1851 Mariane born 1853 Nickolina born 1855 Peder born 1857 Henrietta born 1860 Laurits born 1862 Regina born 1864 K. born 1867 Knudsina born 1872 Mariane is my g-grandmother. Can share photographs and history with any interested descendents.

Someone wrote questioning the list. As far as I know it is just being very, very quiet right now. Is this the heat, or has everyone found who they are looking for :o) Maybe we should do a roll call. I am looking for information about the Hoff family... My grandfather was Adolph Hoff , b. Jan. 5, 1894 in Windom, Mn. to Anders Hoff and Nicholena Lovely (Andreasdotter, Hagen). I believe Anders had a brother Martin?? My grandmother was Anna Olena Nelson Hoff, b. July 20, 1896. to Theordore Nelson and Kisti Hawkins. I think Anna was born in Havannah,Mn. I'm not sure where there is or was, but thinking it was near Albert Lea?? Albert Lea is where they lived when my father was born...Dec 2, 1918....Adolph Owe

I am researching two main surnames: BEIGHLEY anywhere in the state or in Wisconsin. Came from PA in the early 1800s. Same family as has the cabin that is in the Albert Lea Historical Society park. All branches, and I am really, really wanting pictures, if anyone has any. Second is NEPSTAD. I believe I found him, but want to meet others who know of the family - I believe he was Gunder H.
