I've "rescued" an old photograph of Clarence BUSH which was taken at the
Miller Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The photograph appears to have
been taken in the 1880's with Clarence only about 1 year old at the time.
In addition to this photograph I also recovered photographs belonging to the
CRAINE and BIBBINS Families from the same source. I have no idea how they
are all connected, however, the handwritten notations on all of them are
made by the same hand so I know that they are all connected in some

I am looking for the time frame of 1919-1923/24.
A couple other sources for Minneapolis City directories:
**Minnesota Genealogical Society, search their catalog for specific
years:

**Minneapolis Public Library has many directories in their Special

Here' are two extracts from the LDS's website. If anybody has any more information on this couple and their families please let me know. I do not know when they might have shifted from Indiana to Minnesota. I wonder how they met? My family is connected to the PUNTs of Bressingham by marriage.

I believe that it refers to East Division. The city was frequently
referred to as having an East and West Division--references to the

Well Mate it appears you live far away, perhaps - and you could explain a
bit more and do some computer work.
Regardless, save time and call/write Punts in Minneapolis area to find
more on dead ones here on Minnesota Historical Society Web site (death
index) and ancestor who was a blacksmith in St. Peter, MN in 1870.
You are welcome and owe thanks to some border collies here about whose

Our new research note for February describes a growing collection of
on-line maps and atlases for Minnesota, including the original plat
maps drawn by the surveyors for the Government Land Office of the
Bureau of Land Management from the 1840s on. These plats show the
physical geography of the state before Minnesota became a Territory
in 1849. The collection also includes on-line access to the Andreas
Atlas of 1874 plus several other landowner atlases. All the maps are
in color. (The Andreas was one

The Minnesota Genealogical Society has many directories in hard copy. The
catalog is available online at mngs.org. (The years are somewhat scattered.
I see 1920 listed.)
The Minnesota Historical Society has most years, on microfilm. Check
mnhs.org for the catalog.
Each has volunteers who will do lookups in exchange for a donation.
(Budgets are tight.)

My mother and father were married in May 1925 by the Rev. Frederick D.
Tyner. I know he was an Episcopalian priest from St. Luke's Church in Minneapolis.
My mother attended Sunday School and Church at Douglas Chapel on 6th St. No.
in Minneapolis from 1904 at least until she married. I'm looking for
information on Douglas Chapel. I know it was "managed" by a couple named Locke.
Can anyone help me find more information about Douglas Chapel?
