own address in and now know the exact district, etc that I live in. Even shows
a map of the city. Great for research.

When my dad died several years and we sorted out his personal papers, there was a photograph amongst them that none of us recognize or, in fact, had ever seen before. Our photographs were always kept in a big box and the negatives, too, but this one photograph, none other, was singled out to be in "his" drawer.
It's a picture of a beautiful, young girl, perhaps 6-8 years old, obviously from the late 19th or early 20th century. It's on heavy card stock, approximately 4x6-1/2 inches.

I know this is a long shot, because I have little to go on, but I am looking for more information about this couple from the 1900 census of Greenwood, Hennepen.
Levi BOWEN age 70
Emily BOWEN age 68
The occupation shows Levi as the "Proprietor of a Summer Resort"
Both were born in Maine.
I'm not sure if the "Summer Resort" was located in Greenwood, or if it was somewhere else.
Could someone tell me if Greewood is located near a lake?
This Emily may have died on July 14, 1916. I would like to find the names

Hello list,
If you are looking for the 1885 census, there is a site, Kinsource http://www.kinsource.com/, that the 1885 census is being indexed. I have found it very useful. There still are counties to add but Hennepin is finished. There is a small subscription fee that is very much worth it....especially if you are searching MPLS!
To see what county transcriptions have been done go here, http://www.kinsource.com/Subscribe/Mn1885CensusDetails.htm
Also, the LDS Family History Library, does have the 1
I have just transcribed the December 1921 and June 1922 graduating classes
of Minneapolis South High school and uploaded them on the Hennepin site
under "SCHOOLS IN HENNEPIN COUNTY" There are two separate pages, the
December Grads and the June Grads.
Also, I own the original yearbook, which has photos of all the students
listed, and I'll be glad to scan a photo of any student. Please take a
look. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mnhennep/south1922decgrads.htm

Is there anyone on this list that uses Juno.com for email? Are you having problems RECEIVING your e-mail? I have been trying to email someone on this list with a juno.com email address and it bounces back with "fatal error" yet he can send email. Been happening since last night.

I need some advice. I know that my great grandmother, Mary Ellen Towle, was
born in Dayton, Hennepin County, and that her children were also born in
Dayton. I know the date of the marriage, but I'm curious about where they were
married. I presume Dayton. Does anybody have any suggestions of how I might
identify the location of the wedding?
