1. West Wild Rice Lutheran Church burials? [1]
Dear List members, I hope you can help me. I am trying to find out information about the burial of my Great great grandmother Karen Grimsrud who died October 10, 1891 in Norman Co. I believe she was a member of the West Wild Rice Lutheran Church which was organized in 1879 and in 1961 merged with the Zion Lutheran of Twin Valley. Is there anyone on the list that could help me find out where she is buried? Thank you so very much! Linda Rawles northern Nevada

Hi Linda, I would suggest you call the Norman County Recorders Office and see if someone would look at the Death record and perhaps it just may say where she is buried. Or perhaps someone on the list could check the death who lives in Ada. I checked the West Wild Rice Cemeteries and she is not listed there from the reading of the stones. Norman County Recorder P.O. You could also call the Zion Lutheran Church and ask, as they have the records now from what I have seen.
