I would be interested in that. I believe Henry Stordahl is my Grandfather's brother. His parents are Jens and Anne Stordahl. They lived in Minnesota in the late 1800 to early 1900 before moving to Montana

I am a decendant of Jens J. Stordahl who married Anne Bakken in McIntosh Minnesota. They moved to Montana in 1913. There has been a family tree book compiled in 1971 and updates issued every family reunion. They have them ever 6 years I believe and switch between having them in Montana and Minnesota.
Jon,
Received your FAX today. Marie's copy is on it's way to her and I made a
copy for myself because this Espe family is so interesting.
Again, thank you for your kindness. You have really done something to give
a young woman a family history.

Byron,
I am sorry, but at this time I only have the data of the
family members I listed in the original listing. The oldest
son Ole Olsen Morvik (or Morvig)was married 24 June,1862 and
he had 6 children. One oldest daughter could be Anna
Olsdatter Morvick. The reason I am using Morvik and Morvig
is I see both spelling used in the data sent to me. I have
just started this search for this family so I am hoping to
find out more information. I will keep your email address
and inform you if I fin
I am helping a friend research her father's family and have just subscribed

We are interested in the family of Albert O. Espe. Here is the family entry

DeVon,
Ole & Kari MORVIG were my ggg-grandparents who emigrated to America in 1881
from Aasane local parish, Hammer parish (now a suburb of Bergen). I have
MUCH info on their descendants in the USA and Norway, and there are
thousands. To illustrate this, Ole & Kari had 10 children (4 remained in
Norway, incl. my gg-grandmother), 54 grandchildren and 161
great-grandchildren.
I have previously shown how you are connected to Ole Jonson TRETTENES /
MORVIG. Now I can tell you that you are also related to K
Jon,
Thank you for this offer. I will e-mail you in a few hours from a Yahoo

Listers,
I am trying to find family members of this family. They
are distant relatives of mine. I received a family tree from
Norway and this family was listed as one of the families.
The family left Norway in the 1870's and early 1880's. I
have listed some of the family members. If these people are
part of your ancestry, please response. You have a lot of
relatives in the Hannaford, North Dakota area.

d.1900 in Fertile, Polk County,
Hello DeVon
Was wondering if you might any more info on your Morvik family? My

That is all the info I have on her. Is there a possible connection here?

Karla,
The Polk County book has a very nice and long article on the Albert Espe
family. However, the book is copyrighted so I don't want to post the article.
If you want to contact me off-list, I can copy and FAX the article to you.

Found several John Gundersons and seven Caroline Gundersons on the MN Death
Index . . . none in Polk County, however, they may have moved elsewhere by
the time of their death of course.
Several Oscars, checked both Alma and Julia just with mother's maiden name
of Mitchell, nothing . . . happy hunting, Jeanine
