Obituaries are more readily available in the small weekly newspapers than
in the St. Paul daily newspapers. If the death resulted from an accident,
homicide or something 'newsworthy,' you might even find information on the
first page. Survivors typically have to pay for death notices/obits, unless
the person is a business owner, prominent in some way, or a member of

Hi list:
Would it be possible for someone to do a lookup of naturalization
records for me? I have the following information:
Name - Otto BIERSCHENK
County - Ramsey
Reel - 41
Code - 117
Volume - 8
Page - 202
I found him on the 1900 Census, it said he immigrated in 1882 at
age 20 and was listed as (al) I assume that means he is still an alien.
I appreciate any help I can get on this record.

In researching the QUINLAN family from the Killarney area of County Kerry,
Ireland, we have discovered references to a Quinlan family in St. Paul from
this area.
Is anyone researching this family?
I also have a Quinlan ancestor from the Killarney area and have made contact
with the family that did not leave the area. We are interested to know if
the St. Paul Quinlans are "ours."
