Jim: Generally you figure out the closest newspaper to your relative (such as the Pioneer Press in St Paul) and go to their website to search for the person. I just checked their site via twincities.com, and didn't find her. Maybe another paper is closer to Spring Lake Park, and might have carried a notice of her death??? I also checked http://www.co.ramsey.mn.us/ph/vr/death_records.htm which doesn't seem to have a searchable index of deaths in the county. --you'd have to pay for a search to get a de

Thanks for the website, however none of the Dorothys listed are the correct one. My Dorothy turned 101 last year. I tried several combinations of names, ages, and places and did not find her. Maybe she didn't have an obit. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Victoria DEMERS which was taken at the G. L. Demers Studio in Argyle, Minnesota. The photograph was likely taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Victoria appearing to be in her 20's or 30's at the time it was taken.
