Researching Ludwig August SCHMIDT b. 1834, Germany. Arr NY 1864, traveled to
Chippewa Falls, WI, then to Arlington and Sibley, Minn. After the death of
his German born wife he remarried, had one son, Leonard Heinrich SCHMIDT
1865-1951. Leonard married Alwine (Alice ?) SCHOLL 1863-1918.
