17. St. Paul [0.990014]
Does anyone know if there is a death index for St. Paul for the year 1939? My grandfather's brother, Mathias Johannes, lived in St. Paul and I am hoping that is where he died. I have contradicting information---that he died 8 September 1839 and 1829. I am trying to find out which is correct. Thanks, Charlotte in Oregon
18. Re: St. Paul [0.990014]
Hi Charlotte, Your message has conflicting dates (1939? 1839?). If you're looking for a death between 1908-1966 try the MHS Death Certificates page at : http://people.mnhs.org/dci/Search.cfm You can search the entire state or restrict your search to a specific county (for St.. Paul that would be Ramsey County)... I just took a look...there are two Mathias Johannes...one died 4/15/1929 in Hennepin County and one (maybe yours?) died 9/8/1939 in Ramsey County. Best wishes and good luck :) Bon
