Hello,
I am new to this list and wondered if anyone else is researching the COLEMAN line? This GI (George) Coleman is my great-great grandfather and the GW (George W.) is my great grandfather in Cottonwood Point, Pemiscot County, Missouri. This is from the 1880 census. I find in 1900 George W. and wife Mattie (listed here as Martha Holland - living in the same house) - with children Clay W., Lucy E. and John B. Coleman.
Do any of these names ring a bell?

Thanks for creating this list! The "bootheel" area is the scene of much
of my ancestry--including my own birth in Pascola, Pemiscot Co., 1936!
My family migrated to MI when I was two years old, and so I'm looking
forward to learning more about the area of my beginning, where so many
of my relatives lived, and perhaps still do.
My gr grandfather and family, Charles W. WELLS, wife Sarah Ann
(GREGG/GREIG/GRAGE), children: Dema, Edwin and Martha are shown on the
1860 Dunklin Co. census.
If anyone connects
