1. Re: [MO-CEMETERIES] Missouri Missing Cemeteries [1]
GPS coordinates in DMS or decimal degrees is best for me. I may have some errors on the cemeteries near St. James, but I think the Old St. James Cemetery is located at 375941N0913633W. http://terraserverusa.com/map.aspx?t=2&s=12&lon=-91.60917&lat=37.99472&opt=1 Mike On Sun, 17 Aug 2008, edseevers@msn.com wrote: > >What format would like location of a cemetery? The Thomas Hopper Cemetery is in Clay Township. Thomas Hopper died in Clay Township in 1851. Another one I'm interested in is the Napoleon United Methodist Cemetery in Clay Township. The son in law Killian was John Killian whose wife, Lydia Ann Hopper Killian, died in Napoleon in 1835. I've checked the regular cemetery in Napoleon and need to check the UM one. First property owner needs to take deed to property to recorder and request and exclusion for the cemetery. Second inform the sheriff that he is to inform the logging company of possible infringement. And if possible talk or write to the circuit judge and keep all of this in writing. If you have county commissioner be sure they also know in writing and name names. Also keep alert, once the destruction is done nothing beyond monetary fines can be done, history destroyed is history lost forever. Bud. This

They are currently logging very near there, and I am afraid if something is not done, it will be lost forever. At the current time, I believe the property is own by a PETTUS Family at either 8748 o
