I am seeking information on the Teegarden Cemetary, Ray Co., Missouri I cannot find a phone number for them. Can anybody help me? Or a phone number or email address for somebody who can help me. I am seeking the graves of 4 people that should be burried in Ray County and I cannot find them in any of the online Data Bases . .. so I figure they may not have had headstones and I will have to call the cemeteries one at a time and ask about them, and Teegarden has been recomended as a possibility. I am trying to find out where Adam Shanks who died 10 April 1887 in Ray County Missouri is buried. He also had three wife's I am hoping to locate (where they are buried). Susannah Shanks who died 18 Mar 1851 in Ray County Margaret Shanks who probably died around 1854 Maybe in Ray Co. Probably in Holt County Catherine Shanks d. Unk. probably before 1880. Hi, Those you search for may well have tombstones as many cemeteries, probably most cemeteries, do not have the names recorded by anyone. Also some listings are quite old. I listed a cemetery which had 1600 names, a listing done in 1930s listed less than 200 names. There are many small family cemeteries lost in the passage of time. When the road that passes by a cemetery is abandoned, the cemetery usually goes down rapidly. I would suggest you go to the Historical Society in the county and l

Many rural cemeteries do not have phone numbers to call. Almost all of the cemeteries that I research do not have a point of contact listed.
