FYI: I am trying to locate a man who could have been a confederate soldier...I Know he disappeared in 1862-1864...when the will was finally pushed through probate court by his brother. If you find a battle or any info about how they got there I would love to know. I realize that this might be off-topic. Please forgive me. I am sitting a Public Library in Greenville, North Carolina, just a few blocks from the Eastern Carolina University. Took a drive down 5th Street to Martin Luther King Jr St. Walked around the deserted campus for awhile. Things seem quiet here. A recent protest march sparked some unrest when someone hung a Confederate Battle Flag on a building on the route. Led to a lot of charges of racism and hatred.
