Hi Mary,
I'm interested in your Ison post. I do not know
if there is any connection but I am looking for the
family of my Nancy Sanders/Saunders b: ca 1830
that m: Chesley B. Gray b: ca 1830. Nancy and
Chesley were in Cass Co. on the 1860 census.
Nancy died in 1860 after having my g grandfather
Alonzo C. Gray in 1857. Chesley went off to war
in 1861 and it appears that other Sanders or Saunders
family must have raised my g grandfather because
he does not appear with any of the other Gray families.

I have just finished transcribing the estate papers of Morris ISON, who died
in Van Buren (now Cass) Co., Missouri, in 1848. He and his wife, Nancy
(GLENN) ISON, seem to have both died at the same time after less than one
year of marriage; they left no descendants. Thus Morris ISON's heirs were
his brothers and sisters: William ISON, Green ISON, Mahala WEATHERS/WITHERS
(widow of Enos), Elizabeth SAUNDERS (wife of James E.), Pamelia ISON, and
Polly TAYLOR (wife of Garrett); also an Elizabeth ISON who

Aloha List,
Can someone tell me or give me an address of where I might send to obtain a copy of death certification or copy of marriage that took place in Barry County? I was directed to Cass by others. Hello Everyone,
I am sending this to 3 separate lists. I apologize in advance for any
duplication that you may receive.
I am looking for any information that someone might have on Delphia McFarland
found on the 1860 census records for Cass County, Missouri in Austin Twp,
City, or Town.
I am grasping for straws in my search for my Delphia, maiden name unknown,
(b 1840 in MO).
She married first to Mr. Bennett (first name unknown) and had 2 children

By going to the great new CassMoFind site, I came across someone who might
be a relative. I am sending away for the obit itself, which may tell me a
lot. But in the meantime thought I'd throw this out to the List, in case
someone knows him.
The listing was for Rev. Ewing Matheny Bailey, 1840-1916, buried in Belton
Cemetery. He was a Civil War Veteran, and I found his widow was named Amanda
J. or J. Amanda Bailey.
I have a Matheny/Bailey connection through the sister of my gg grandmother.
