Ellen, Martha Jane Wilhite ,Daughter of Caleb and Margaret, was my gg grandmother, who married William Monroe Stewart. I don't know any of her siblings, dates, etc. Would appreciate some help with this line. Her son Isaiah is my g grandfather, his son Thomas Clinton was my grandfather. Do you have siblings or parents of Caleb Wilhite? I have been unable to find when or where William Monroe and Martha married. I have looked for years for a son of William Monroe and Martha Jane Stewart, Caleb Stew

Hi Mechelle, Please bear with me as the years are catching up with me. I do not recall having posted to the Christian County digest in some time. I belong to a ton of genealogy web sites. My four main branches are: Murphy, Moser, Marriott and Lokey. The Marriotts and Lokeys were all over Christian and Barry Counties for some time. Does this ring a bell? Sorry to be so disorganized. Thank you for taking the time to send this Routh family history. I wish I could figure out a way to connect to the Routh's who lived in Polk & Cedar Counties, etc. My Stephen did spend time in Dade county near some Rouths, but we have not been able to connect him to them. I borrowed Routh family history books several years ago and used them as a resource for the Routh family. I could not determine where he might fit into the family. Not knowing his father's name makes it harder. I should look in the Routh

The only Stephen I have in my data base is as follows: There is much research done on the Routh family and a set of 2 volumes are in the Okla. City Genealogical Library. Maybe you can get your hands on these. Not sure I am of any help. Glennis Descendants of Isaac Routh, Sr. Generation No. 1 1. ISAAC2 ROUTH, SR. Paula, Forgot one more thing, in 1930 Kansas City, Jackson Co MO. Ella M. Vaughn divorced, age 44 with Steven 17, this is probably Wm. Steven? anyway in 1940 he is age 27 a lodger in different household. Don't see Ella. Looks like Clarence Lee went off and married couple more times and had children. Clarence's WWI draft card says he was married with wife and 2 children under 12 that was in 1917, Wyandotte, KS. he was a representative for mfg. co. Jean, I recognize your name from all the years online researching family. Sorry, I don't have anything in my files on Joseph James Pope. I have searched for a connection before and if there is one it goes back to Virginia and possibly Nathan Pope. I believe that your Joseph James Pope's father was born in Tennessee, and perhaps his father was in Virgina and was Nathan. My line possibly connects in Virginia, but I am not very sure of the files that I have from Virginia. I do know that my line goes back

Paula, I believe this is your Ella Johnson Vaughn in 1920 if you don't have it, she is in Kansas City Ward 4, Wyandotte, KS. Divorced with sons Justin 10 and Wm. 6. If you have ancestry Justin's line has tree there and states Justin was born May 6, 1909 MO. and passed Jan. 7, 1992 in Cook Co IL. She has nothing on Wm. Has Clarence Lee born 12 Dec. 1890 MO. died Mar 1971 San Francisco, CA. Let me know if you need connected with the lady that posted Justin's info. her name was Colleen. Hope this helps s
