Thanks for answering my request. Oliver, b. 1799, Lancaster, PA and Hannah,
b. 22 Apr 1818, Amesbury, MA. are my husband's great great grandparents. I
found info from the Liberty Tribune and the Clay County, Missouri Centennial
Souvenir 1822-1922, Chapter. Liberty Male and Female Seminary, Pg. 132
about the school in Liberty.
I'm excited to learn that you are a descendant of Randolph R. Craig,
President of the Board of Trustees. Perhaps you could tell me about him. I

According to my records Elizabeth Ford (b 1820 Pa) father was William Ford b 1795 Va, d 1840 and Nancy Self b 1795 Ky and d 1879, Scott, Ky. I also show a William Ford b 1761 Maryland, d 1839 who is father of the above William Ford, married Ann M
My ancestor, Randolph R. Craig, was one of the directors. I have a
smattering of items in the newspaper about the directors, etc. The
same people involved also were instrumental in founding William
Jewell College. There's a book about a Baptist church with the same
people involved-I have it around somewhere and will check for info.
I've seen things about this at the State Historical Society of
Missouri in Columbia. Do you know if they were in the group of people
who came over from Woodford Cou
