If I may jump in here, I too was born illigentament, my birth was listed under my mother's ex husband as my father as she did not want my sister and myself to have different names, she had told me about my father as I grew up. She moved away from Jasper County in 1942 and he married someone else when he came home from WW II.My birth was in 1940, however just last year I had my birth certificate amended to my biological father. I have also within the last 5 years met my 5 siblings from his marriage. I
