Hi! I am new to this list. I am looking for information about the McCartney family. I have found Peter McCartney with wife Louisa in Sparta Township, Knox County, Missouri in the 1860 census. In 1850 the family was in Cumberland County, Indiana, and I believe that by 1870, the family was in Franklin County, Missouri. Hi! I'm looking for information about my ggg grandparents, Elias and Elizabeth Harvey. They moved to Knox County after the Civil War, and in 1870, they were living in Lyon Township with their grandson, John Thomas Harvey. He was 61 then, and she was 58. After that, it seems they dropped off the edge of the world. I want to find out when they died, and where they are buried. They had children living in the area, so I doubt if they moved.
