I am researching the LANE name in McDonald County. If anyone has the Missouri State Census records and is willing to do a lookup, I would be most grateful. I have all of his census information from the Federal Census'.
He was in the Erie Township on the 1880 Federal Census

My Husband's family "Eckel" lived in Pineville prior to the mid 1930's, but
his dad was born in 1909 in Joplin, so sometime between moving to Kansas in
the mid 30's and 1909 they resided in Pineville at the fork of the Little
and Big Sugar Creek. Any info would be appreciated. My father in laws name
was Claude and he had two brothers Jesse and Roy. Their father was Albert
and we think the middle name was Wesley and last name Eckel. Their mother
was Ada (we think middle name was Gertrude) Rains Eckel from
OOPS, I amde a mistake, jumped before I looked, The John I was talking about
was John Cargile who married Emaline Lane. her father was William.
