Does anyone know how I can get a copy of an obituary for Martha Anna (Goodin) Donelson who died around Mercer Co. on Oct. 6, 1919. She died under unusual circumstances and they're might have also been a news article. The event was supposed to have been reported as far away as Kansas City. Mary

Ottie Owens. I don't know if I should be answering this or not, but----- I know a little bit about the Morg. Donelson family as they went to our church. There was or is tombstone in the White Oak Cemetery that is west of Mercer. It read J. Morgan Donelson 1880-1945 ---- Annie Goodin, his wife 1882 - 1919. She was a sisster to John Goodin. I was out to this cemetery this past summer and there is now a tomb stone with 3 namesa on it. Annie, Morg and Hallie. Hallie was his second wife, she remar

Thanks for the data on Joe Dale Linn. I am interested about Joe because I do a lot of family tree work. Joe Dale's Grandfather was Thomas Linn who married my Grandmother, Eliza Hayes Owens Linn. It was the 2nd marriage for both. They are both buried in the Swan Cemetery. I thought Joe Dale was buried in the Princeton Cemetery. Is that right? Does anyone know about his wife? Birth date, marriage date, etc? Thanks in advance ottie owens ----- Original Message ----- From: To: <

His death is listed on the Social Security Death Index which can be searched on a number of sites. That seems quite definite to me. I hadn't thought about it for years thus, I momentarily forgot that while he was working for HyVee he first married a young girl from around Eagleville or Chariton. They had a son. The marriage only lasted a very short time and was not widely known. The marriage quickly and quietly ended. Then he and Mary were married. Yes, I am positive of this first marriag

Ottie, I certainly don't know where Joe Dale is buried. Of course, he may have been cremated. I searched the internet for a newspaper in the area of Palm Springs, CA, looking for an obituary for him. True, there is a monument for him in the Princeton Cemetery by or on the marker for his wife, Mary Castell Hazelton. Perhaps someone in the area would check to see if it has a death date for him and if he is buried there. Somehow, I would be surprised if he is buried there. His second wife
