Hi, My name is Linda Schmehl. I am a descendant of the Collins in Ozark County, but I will not be able to attend the reunion. I am descended from Queen Victoria Collins who married Benjamin Franklin Eagan. Her parents were Isaac and Estella Collins. After Benjamin Eagan died in the early 1920s, "Queenie" went to Oklahoma. Supposedly she married a Jim Dougherty. If any of you who are attending the reunion hear anything concerning where and when "Queenie" died, please let me know. I haven't been able to locat

Dorothy - Sweeton Pond Cemetary is on hwy 181 South about 1/2 mile past the Ozark/Douglas county line (heading toward Dora from 14 & 181). It is right next to the hwy on the right. Parson Cemetary is further south on 181 - turn on the gravel road to the right, directly across from Sweet Home Realty and is about 1/2 on the first curve on your right. Ball Cemetary is further on down 181 south. It is about 1/2 mile south of the 181 and H junction (Crossroads Store) on 181 on the right on the hwy. Trail C

I am researching the McCurry/Creekmore line. Harbin Wilburn McCurry is listed in the 1850 census with brother Samuel. I am looking for graves of William Worth McCurry and Harbin McCurry, Jr. I believe them to be buried in Ozark County area. Does anyone have a Walter Collins, deceased, whose grandson is a Donald Collins, still living, Walter lived in the Dora area. And is this line of Collins related to the Hopkins line from the New Liberty Baptist Church area, in Howell County. I do know there are Collins family members buried in New Liberty in Howell County, Missouri. I have a friend, Don Collins, whose family is the above family and we are trying to determine if we are related, but he has no information as to his tree. terrie ----- Origin
