I have a tremendous amount of research on this family as well.
What is your connection?
Mine is sort of like Betty Tuckers :-))))
You know you are addicted to genealogy when...
The two weeks of vacations you get a year is planned around how many
cemeteries you can visit in such a short length of time. And you make
sure that you get your weeks vacation pay ahead of time so that you can
have plenty of film and bug repellent bought up.
You know you are addicted to genealogy when - - you start to picture your
own tombstone with the birth date filled in and the death date empty
A sort of "being a real part of your own family history" - or "being
gathered to her fathers" sort of thing.
Nancy B - Kansas City
Sheesh - is this too weird or what.
Jackie, Thank You!
I don't think that some of these cemeteries have ever been surveyed by
Ripley Co or Randolph Co so I hope it will be great addition. There has
already been much excitement about the Pratt Cem in particular.

Jackie,
I still have Mom trying to 'remember' if she knows anything about this cemetery.
I did notice on the 'Find A Grave' web site, that there is a listing for a Rush Cemetery at Gatewood.
However, there are no directions nor are there and listings of folks being buried in the cemetery.

I have contacted several folks on the list, trying to locate Rush
Cemetery near Gatewood. None of us had ever heard of it. I was unable
to find the original email to me about this Cemetery so I am posting it
here. New cemetery listings are being worked on so I asked Ray Burson as
a last resort if he could find it.
This is his reply.
Jackie - Late follow-up. No one, not even the living Rushes, can identify
that cemetery. It is possible, however, that there is a solitary grave in
the Gatewood area
So what are you Betty, a mind reader....LOL
Thanks, and you bet I'll do that! Thank you so much!
