NARA Makes Some Passenger Arrival Records Available Online
This week, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
announced that it has made available for the first time online more
than 5.2 million records of some passengers who arrived during the
last half of the 19th century at the ports of Baltimore, Boston, New
Orleans, New York, and Philadelphia. The records can be accessed
through NARA's online Acc

Anna M. Adams, 63, died Aug. 30, 1890 in Pascagoula, MS, only sister of the late Mrs. Charles Scott, of Mississippi, mother of Daniel W. and Charles S. Adams, and sister-in-law of General Wirt Adams. She was buried from St. Paul's Church on Monday, Sept. 1, 1890. Her remains, which will be forwarded to Jackson, MS in the fall, have been interred temporarily in Greenwood Cemetery.
