I am researching Dr. William Goldin and family from Scott Co. by way of
Alabama. My line moved on into Louisiana about 1889. Don't think I can be of
any help but will be glad to go through a book I have on neighboring county
of Leake. The book LOOKING BACK contains Genealogical Abstracts from "The
Cartheginian" with dates spanning the years 1872-1900. Don't mind checking
the book for your line if you will send names and dates you need.

Scott County is sometimes kinda slow but we're here.
I'm mostly researching in Smith County but a lot of my "kin folk" lived
along the line between Trenton-Burns-Pulaski-Homewood-Pineville.
Surnames that I'm interested in are:
Boozer, Vinzant, Robinson, Hegwood, Burns, Sorey, Winstead, Wicker, and
others.
