Hi Ann, Congratulations on your quick response. My ancestors were born in Vicksburg-Warren County, MS: GG-Mother Martha Thomas b.abt 1850 d.1927 mother/father unknown GG-Father Aaron Nailor ? 16+children Other Surnames: Rice, Watson, Stately, Anderson, Amos, Deal, and Davis just to name a few. Try the Vicksburg Library. I understand they have a lot of them on microfilm there! I suggest you spend the fee to get an actual copy of the birth certificate from the MS Depart of Health, since you have the number. Then the information on it should be of invaluable assistance to you.
