I am researching George Witteck b 1833? Germany. He list Charles T. as a son b. 1869? in Buffalo NY. His sister Mary is my ancestor. Have you found out anything else about Charles?

Unfortunately I have not found anything. I can't verify that the Charles T is the same as my great grandfather but familysearch.org had it as Charles Th. born around the same time and I think that is awful coincidental. Wish I had more info for you.
