Dear Lola
"Bless your little pea-pickin heart" this proves James 2nd wife was a
Bruce. I thought he was married to a Bruce and she died when Drucilla
was born. He got her sister to care for his children and later married
her. His marriage in Whitley Co. was transcribed as Jane Cruze so we
could not prove our ideas.
Thank you ever so much. This is just great! Can't wait to tell my
Niece.

Ok Beverly,
Sounds good. Web pages are pretty simple.
I'm learning Dreamweaver, but I don't think a site that elaborate would
be needed.

Hi Beverly
Thank you for the information you sent. The Eli Murphy could be a very
good clue. I have not checked the Pulaski Co. land records. Where are
these records located? I live near Dayton, OH. The grants in your
e-mail are from a James Murphy Family in what is now Mc Creary Co. and is
a different set of Murphys.
Thanks,Bonnie

Dear cousins,
THe following was on the Wayne County, IN list that I am on and I thought it was a great idea.
This came to me from another mailing list I am on and I thought it was a terrific thing. I am sure you are all like me and have spent hundreds of hours gathering information, it would be a shame to see it lost in the next generation. Hope it does some good.

Hi Lola
You will never know how much I appreciate you finding my James Murphy in
1870. I had looked and looked and had given up about three years ago.
Then the other day I tried again. Thank you very much. If you can check
the microfilm again and tell me if there are any BRUCE families living
near James Murphy. I think his wife was a Bruce.
Again, I thank you for making my day.

Hello:
Excuse me, but I am confused by this message. I have seen similar
on this list but truly do not understand what I am seeing.
I have not seen where this one makes mention of Murphy. Nor is it
likely, if I did spot the name that I would understand what I was
seeing.
Could you please expl
Cyndee, are you researching the Murphys of Richmond County? I have a
vague recollection of having some interest in that county. Who are you
researching?

Rootsweb.com has a link to locate the county a specific town is located in.
http://resources.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/townco.cgi
It sure helped me locate the county in the New England states where I can't
seem to locate the name of a county on the maps due to all the print from
the various towns. So much simpler.
